Chadwick Celebration Awards

10th January 2022 By kathrynjeffrey

Nominations for Chadwick Celebration Awards are now open.

Pupils (parents and carers) are invited to nominate a staff member for ‘Inspirational Staff Member’

“This award is aimed at someone who has fuelled enthusiasm, gone over and above the remit of their regular workload to emotionally and practically support pupil(s). This award is held in the highest esteem as the nominations come from the grassroots of our trust. He or she will have made an impact on a pupil’s academic or pastoral life, memorable enough for that young person to want to mark the efforts of the staff member”. You may need to ask an adult for some help to make your nomination.

You can do this online with the link below – you need to send in your nominations by Friday 8 April 2022.

Those nominated and the overall winner will be announced on Friday 8 July 2022. https://forms.office.com/r/U9iMRhYZjB

Please see the attached letter for further details.

Tik Tok Update

11th November 2021 By kathrynjeffrey

We are aware that several of our pupils are using Tik Tok and would like to remind parents that this platform has an age restriction of 13+. It has also come to our attention that across the borough a number of ‘fake’ school accounts are being created. All fake accounts will be reported and would urge you to inform us if you notice anything suspicious.

We DO NOT condone Tik Tok being used by our pupils however we know this does happen. Please remember that any platform being used by your child should have appropriate privacy and parental guidance settings. If you feel you’d benefit from support and guidance around privacy settings on any platform, please contact our school office on office@stbedesjarrow.co.uk with the subject, FAO Mrs Jeffrey.
