Religious Education

Why is Religious Education Important?

At St Bede’s, we believe that children should be given the opportunities to develop themselves to the fullest. To achieve this, they need a curriculum based on the Gospel values. Religious Education is at the very core of our curriculum and an integral part of both the ethos of the school and the inspirational aims for each and every child.

Religious Education enables our children to identify and build the relationship between faith and life. Our children will be able to show respect and compassion, to consider their responsibilities to themselves and others; to explore how they can contribute to their communities and wider society.
