At St. Bede’s we are committed to the emotional well-being of our children and we recognise that there are certain times in their lives when they need some emotional support.
Mrs Stephenson is a trained ELSA (Emotional literacy support assistant) and she works with children who may be feeling a little anxious or worried. The sessions usually last for up to 6 weeks and help the child to focus upon what is worrying them and how to make things better.
If you ever feel that your child could benefit from some emotional support please talk to your class teacher who will arrange for Mrs Stephenson to contact you.
